Prom Dress Shopping

The end of semester 1 is coming up quicker than I can believe. In other words semester 2 is going to be starting any day now. So naturally I've already started wondering and stressing about prom dresses, knowing that day will come sooner than I can imagine. I'm super excited about it, and the desire of my heart is to appear looking incredibly fabulous in a somewhat vintage inspired dress.

I have a design in mind, and if I could I would definitely sew my own dress, but as I can't I'll just have to hope it magically appears before my eyes.
Or I'll just search for months online
and find the dress of
my dreams...

Lately I have just been so drawn to tiers and frills, which is strange because I used to stay as far away from them as humanly possible. I think the reason I have fallen in love with them like I have is because the frills and tiers are used to make a simple statement, instead of overpowering the entire dress. Their not frilly for the sake of being frilly. Their frilly because it improves the design as a whole. Also I just adore the vintage silhouettes of these dresses, their absolutely perfect, and exactly what I'm looking for.
